Welcome to the party! My name is Lois Gallo and I've been where you are, so I know how it can feel! With big dreams sometimes come big frustrations, overwhelm, or discouragement, when obstacles come along or people think you're crazy! But there are also times of big joys and rewards, and the great feeling you have inside when plans work out and lives are touched and changed.

You really CAN make a difference in the world. There's a special reason each of us are here - and NO ONE can take YOUR place!
Most of my life I've had this "calling," but was afraid of failure or afraid of success, afraid of what others might think, or afraid to let go of a lot of other "good" things to move forward with the best. And I used the excuses I'd always had - not enough time, not enough money, not enough people or resources to support and help me accomplish the vision.
Underneath it all, I've had a sense of destiny and purpose that I felt I had yet to step up to and embrace fully... until recently.
Through a process of prayer and being open to what God's way for me was in this vision (which I believed He gave me in the first place!), He promised to fulfill it and told me he had already provided all the resources I would ever need! I had no excuse now! Only power and love and gratitude, which cleared away all the doubts and empowered me to move forward!
So with the help and heart and power of God and other people He connected me to at just the right time, I am charging full steam ahead with the vision God has given me to fulfill!
My theme verse for this season in my life is: "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love, and of a sound mind." - 2 Timothy 1:7
It's out of this that comes the "Heart and Power" Connections concept.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
It's absolutely amazing what happens when women come together! Especially Christian women with a sense of purpose and destiny!
Women are naturally relationship oriented, with our nurturing, giving, caring and sharing natures, usually worrying more about others than ourselves! Once your career is on auto-pilot or you retire, or your kids are grown and (hopefully) on their own, or you find yourself ready for a change, you start thinking about what you should be doing next to continue your contribution to others.
- Maybe you've always wanted to explore your artistic side.
- Perhaps you realize it's time to scale down your life, maybe take some time to reflect on who you really are and what you want to do.
- Maybe you need some self-care, or taking the time to work on yourself to improve in some way.
- You may have longed to start a business, invent a product, design a new line with your beautiful graphics, or go online with your ideas.
- The burning desire for ministry in some more effective way that is natural and joyful for you may be your next goal.
- It might even be time for you to write that book inside you, or start speaking and sharing the messages God has been giving you from your life experiences.
Whatever it is, the time is NOW! You've come to this place not by accident!
Part of the big vision of Heart and Power is the connections with other women who desire the same things in life. They want to know and fulfill God's purpose. They want to make a difference. They want to be all God intended them to be with the rest of their time on earth.
What I've discovered as women get together, is the amazing support and deep connections that are made. Many find the missing best friend they always wished they had! Others find great connections to people they never could have reached as quickly on their own, which helps propel them faster toward their dreams. Others find spiritual sisters to pray for and support them, as they struggle with issues in life. But all come away richer and more blessed, even as they seek to be a blessing to others.
